Completely restricted rooms where no students are allowed to enter. Principal of the Thing will scold the player when seeing them entering, exiting, or staying inside unless the Faculty Nametag is in action.
The office owned by Principal of the Thing. This is where the player is sent for violating the school rules and where the party event starts. This office is also the area where all school members' posters and descriptions can be viewed.
A room where the player can go on field trips, store or take items in the storage locker, buy items at Johnny's Store, save the game, and/or continue the current game. Located between each floor.
An outside area where stamina is restored upon visiting. If the player is in here, Principal of the Thing will not scold them for violating any school rule.
The office owned by Baldi located at the end of the main mode.
Trivia[]
The Super Schoolhouse's layout shifts, thanks to its ability to move around the walls, floors, and ceilings. It is similar to Portal 2's test chambers.[1]
The school appears to have very poor standards when it comes to teaching students as Baldi gives his students Kindergarten/Grade 1 math.
Probably due to the aforementioned problems with the school staff, the school seems to have a problem with students commonly escaping from the school, so much so that they had to install super doors to prevent this.
Just like the classic Schoolhouse, if the player were to view the Super Schoolhouse from the outside, they can see through the walls. This is because the Super Schoolhouse is created out of walls that only have one side.
mystman12 posted randomly generated maps in his Twitter/X[2] and Instagram.[3] This happened during the rework of level generating.[4]
The unknown rooms seen on the advanced map (represented with blue).
mystman12 has teased a new unknown room that will be marked on the map by a dark blue color. They seem to be broken into chunks, some of which are disconnected from the hallways and seemingly have no entrance. However, they do appear to contain items.
mystman12 said that this room was made for testing, but it might be added in the game as a rare Easter egg.[5]
Glitches[]
From Baldi's Basics PlusV0.3.6 to V0.6, if the player unpaused the game at the same time the transition effect finished, all objects in the school building and the building itself would suddenly disappear, so only the skybox was left. This could be fixed by pausing or opening an advanced map, then resuming the game.
This glitch still happens in Classic Remastered, although it is a different building.
The level generation progress in the elevator screen.
In Baldi's Basics Kickstarter Exclusive Demo and Baldi's Basics Plus prior to V0.3.5, the player could see how the level was generated in the elevator screen, after they were caught by Baldi.
↑"So this happened because I've been reworking a lot of level handling and generating code over the past few weeks. With the game design doc finished I have a clearer idea of how I want the game to work, so I've been overhauling a lot of systems to make way for big improvements!" - mystman12. March 24, 2023. ↑Q: "If they aren't already included in the pre-release, are you planning on adding the smiley face rooms with a blue map background as shown in one of the update teasers to the final release of V0.4? Or were they just test rooms that won't make an appearance in game?" / A: "The smiley face room was just for testing purposes, but who knows, maybe I'll throw it in the game at some point as a rare Easter egg!" - Kickstarter comments
