The laboratory is a type of level in Baldi's Basics Plus.
Description[]
The laboratory is a futuristic-themed type that can spawn on Floor 4 onwards. It has green and yellow tiled floors and walls, as well as a white plaster ceiling, and features two unique gimmicks that revolve around the usage of teleportation. It has 4 different zones, and each zone has a poster that shows to the player which zone are they in.
There are four teleporter rooms, in which all of them have three buttons and a teleporter. The teleporter can teleport the player and NPCs to other teleporter room after pressing one of the buttons.
In the center, there is a wormhole room, where characters will forcefully be pulled into the wormhole in a spiral shape if they enter. A few seconds later, they will be teleported to a random location.
Along with that, there are also cameras scattered around the floor. If they detect nearby players, they will close down faculty only super doors. These doors will divide the level into four zones.
Trivia[]
- This type uses a unique skybox texture that is not used anywhere else, but unlike other types of levels, it is visible without hacking.
- In V0.10 Pre-release, there were no zone posters.
- Prior to V0.10.2, swinging doors in this type can randomly be changed, unlike in other types. For instance, a one-way swinging door may be replaced with a normal one after playing the same level.
