Summary

Baldi's Basics is 1 year old!

To celebrate, Baldi is throwing a party! He's wrapped all the items and shuffled them around, so there's no way to know what item you're picking up until you grab it. Laugh, play, laugh again with Baldi and co. at this cRaZy party!

Gameplay

The gameplay is almost exactly the same as Baldi's Basics Classic, but with a few changes. Baldi appears in the same hallway, but sporting a small green, orange, and blue party hat. He says "Oh, hi! Welcome to my party!" instead of "schoolhouse". He also leaves out the lines "A shiny quarter!" and "Then, when you find something you can use it on, right-click on the object with the quarter selected! That's how you use items, you know!".

Each item is randomized and hidden inside a blue and green gift box. All BSODA and Zesty machines have also been changed to Crazy Item machines which dispense a random item, having a poster placed over their front that says "GET A CRAZY ITEM!".

There are colorful balloons floating around the hallways and classrooms, and a few characters wear party hats. Gotta Sweep has confetti in its bristles, and Playtime's music has been changed to a different tune. It's a Bully's words next to him have been changed from "THIS IS A BULLY" to "THIS IS A PARTY". There is also a giant cake in the center of the cafeteria with a small elevator platform next to it.

After the player collects all 7 notebooks, the game forces the player to reach the cafeteria exit last because this exit is missing until the other three exits are reached. When the player reaches the cafeteria exit - instead of the normal ending screen - the color tint revert to normal, the cast shows up behind the player shouting their praise in unison, and confetti falls from the ceiling. The player then has to step aboard the elevator platform to reach the top of the cake, then blow out the candle.

Normal ending

The cafeteria when the player blows the cake's candle out.

Once the player blows out the candle, the entire Schoolhouse will become dimly lit, and the rest of the characters will float up to a similar height to the player, but they will not be interactive or be able to move at all. The player will be able to float over the floor to leave the elevator platform, and on either side of the top of the cafeteria, there is an entrance to a hallway that leads to the glitched school, a glitched map-like floor located above the Schoolhouse.

There will be an ambience of extremely rapid ruler slaps at random intervals and volumes, though Baldi is not the source of the sound. Two rooms of the glitched school contain salmon-colored notebooks that function normally, though they play a strange glitched noise of Baldi saying "1" forwards and reversed in a looped audio. Obtaining these notebooks will not affect the game, but the notebook counter will increase, and after each one is collected and a problem is answered wrong, a pitched-down version of Baldi saying "You need to collect 2 notebooks before you can use these doors." will be heard.

One of the hallways leads to the puzzle room. Once the player enters the correct count of SpoopBalloons, a wall will open to reveal a room with a circle of chairs and a chalkboard, and Baldi saying "WOW!" can be heard. When the player enters the room, the game will begin to spawn glitched red-colored SpoopBalloons that come out of the walls and follow the player around while making a glitchy noise. Distorted Baldi look-alike character posters will also begin appearing on random walls.

As the player attempts to escape the glitched school, more and more red SpoopBalloons will appear. Eventually, so many of them will spawn that the player will have difficulty moving, and they might glitch up to the ceiling of the hallway. After a certain amount of time passes, a distorted "Thank you!" screen originally used on the Kickstarter's main page will appear, and the player will only be able to close the game.

filename2 ending

filename2 can be found after the Schoolhouse turns dark if the player uses a Teleportation Teleporter or inputs "53045009" in the You Can Think Pad in the glitched school to go to the Principal's office. He is once again surprised by the player's wit in finding him but is disappointed that they have not destroyed the game yet. He warns them again that something bad will happen if they do not destroy the game, and the program crashes.
